Like so many of these isometric RPGs on the App Store, they lure you into a click fest with ample progression until you start hitting those points where paying a couple dollars makes your experience more enjoyable.
Which is great until you keep running into these barriers and find out that the top 10 players have 100$+ invested and admit as much over the community messaging built into the game.
There are so many of these apps based on the same code that has various levels of modification and a recipe for monetization designed by physiologists. Im all for paying for a product, less for paying for a product that never really tells you what the product is.
They keep adding heroes and levels so even the people that spend lots of money end up having to spend more to stay on top. The bar will keep moving and companies will keep preying on the population until more legislation protects us from these practices.
Take it for what it is, and if you dont like the fantasy theme but enjoy the isometric system it uses, there are plenty more to pick from based in worlds like Star Wars.
